Gloves: A Cold Weather Must Have For Junior Tennis Players

Handy gloves for your junior tennis player.

When it comes to playing tennis in the Winter our Alfred was bang on!

One of the key things a junior tennis player (or an adult one for that matter) needs to be able to keep playing throughout the Winter is gloves.

Ice cold freezing hands make outdoor tennis not a lot of fun.

Hands inside gloves can keep on hitting!

I’ve had a pair with grips on for a while now and they are ACE for playing tennis in. My hands don’t notice the cold - until I forget them - and boy do I regret forgetting them!

Now I’ve got a pair for our eight year old Ned - and it’s so far so good!! They are not specifically made for tennis but they have silicone on the palms which will help with gripping the racket. He says they are great to play in and that he can grip his racket with them well. This is important as woolly gloves don’t have much grip.

If you’d like to get your player a pair of gloves, like the ones I’ve got for Ned please do click the link below. There’s a handy size guide on the Amazon page. Ned is 8 and we got him a size medium which fit well.

Or if you’d like an adult pair of tennis gloves like mine then please give these a go!
